Discount Travel Secret: Save on trips to Florida, DC, Tennessee, and California

Discount Travel Secret:
Save on Transportation, Lodging, Attractions, and Dining

Hi Reader,

I thought I'd change up the formatting a bit to match a little bit more to the Discount Travel Secrets Insider Series teachings.

Just to refresh your memory, I always break everything down into the 4 different sectors of the tourism industry: transportation, lodging, attractions, and dining.

Anything you do when traveling will fit into one of those 4 categories.

So, I decided to highlight 1 thing from each area every week.

It could be a blog post, it could be a limited time travel deal, or it could be some breaking news in that sector, just whatever is most relevant at the time.

But the focus will obviously still be on saving money in all of these areas.

🚘 ✈️ Transportation 🚘 ✈️

The Best Transportation From Port Canaveral To Disney World

A new blog post from another one of my blogs - Mouse Transportation Tips - all about getting to and from and around Disney World!

This post weighs the pros and cons of cost, time, and convenience for all kinds of transportations options getting between Port Canaveral and Disney World.

πŸ¨β›ΊοΈ Lodging 🏨 ⛺️

Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Embassy Row

We stayed here on our most recent trip to DC.

Being in the middle of a city is always expensive, but picking a brand to build up loyalty rewards for will make your money go further.

This one is still in walking distance to all the best highlights of DC, including the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, The White House, and more!

🎒 🎟️ Attractions 🎒 🎟️

Dollywood One Day Itinerary

Dollywood is in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and is one of the more affordable amusement parks (especially compared to Disney & Universal).

The food here is so good, especially the pull-apart cinnamon bread from Grist Mill.

It's pretty easy to see and experience everything you'd want to do in a single day.

🍽️ Dining 🍽️

20 Best Restaurants in Los Angeles

I recently overhauled all of my LA area restaurant recommendations and broke them down by neighborhoods and suburbs.

Everything that didn't fit into those was put into my more general "best restaurants in LA" post.

But all the others are linked in there too, so you can see all the restaurants in one place.

LA has a ton of historic diners that are so cheap!

Not everything is Nobu or Musso & Frank's!

See you next week,

Eva and JP πŸ’Ž
