Happy Saturday! Hi Reader, I am home from my nearly 3 week trip to Florida! I spent lots of time traveling between Disney World, Port St. Lucie, and Tampa. I got to try some new to me Disney restaurants (which is rare because I've been nearly everywhere). But I'm happy to be home, settling back into a routine, and seeing my favorite babies. I have a fun announcement this week - A little over a year ago, I took part of Discovering Hidden Gems and made a new brand called Timeshares, Resorts, and More where I review all the timeshares, resorts, campgrounds, and cabins that we've stayed in over the years. There's currently a little over 50 reviews and over the next month or so, they are all returning to Discovering Hidden Gems! It was a good test to branch out and start a new site with the volatility of Google, search engines in general, and the introduction to so much AI content and algorithm changes. But ultimately, it's just easier to keep it all together as one thing and bring a boost to this site by adding over 50 posts over the next 30-60 days. Timeshares, Resorts, and More will slowly fade into the void as I make these changes, but Discovering Hidden Gems will have a ton of new content (most of which are VERY affordable resorts, hotels, and campgrounds that I recommend in my travel itineraries). Our home page always lists the latest posts with the date, so be on the lookout as new posts get moved over - there's already a couple on there! I have a fun freebie from that site that I'll be re-branding and offering in those posts too, but I'll announce it here first when it's ready. Have a great weekend, Eva and JP P.S. Discount Travel Secrets Hi Reader, This week I just want to share some brand new blog posts that have been published since my last newsletter. I realized I had never written reviews for some of the places I stayed in on my most recent trip to Florida back in July. So I started with those first: Orbit One Vacation Villas Review - literally right outside of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, the curb appeal is not the greatest, but it has been recently renovated and has a mid century modern +...
Happy Saturday! Hi Reader, Have you seen all the TikTok videos about “The Great Lock-In”? Basically, people are treating these last four months of the year as their time to really lock in on goals, bucket lists, and plans. And I am HERE for it! So I thought why not do the same thing for travel? Here’s how I’m using September to get “locked in” for Fall travel and activities and save money while I’m at it: 🍂 Week 1: Clear the summer clutter I’m putting away all my Summer stuff, and making my...
