Happy Saturday! Hi Reader, Happy Leo Season! 🦁 With my birthday coming up next month, I thought it would be the perfect time to talk about birthday freebies. For years, I have collected birthday freebies from restaurants and retailers, even ones that I literally only go to for my birthday freebie. I've shared this extensively in my Las Vegas Birthday Freebies blog post where I share over 125 places that offer birthday freebies. Many on the list are available nation wide or regionally, so definitely check it out for ideas, even if you're not going to Vegas. The #1 thing to keep in mind with birthday freebies is that 99% of the time you have to sign up at least the month prior to your birthday. The way it works is just signing up for restaurants and retailers rewards programs and/or email lists. Sometimes you'll have to download their app too. But as long as you stay on their list, every year on or around your birthday you'll receive an email with a free offer. Some of my favorites that I do pretty much every year: BJ's Brewhouse - free pizookie Landry's Select Club - $25 to spend on your next meal Buffalo Wild Wings - free wings (most restaurants offer free dessert) Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf - free drink Auntie Anne's - free soft pretzel of your choice Starbucks - free coffee Dairy Queen - free blizzard Krispy Kreme - free donut Nothing Bundt Cakes - free bundtlet Sephora - free item (usually they have 2-3 things you can choose from) Ulta - free item (usually they have 2-3 things you can choose from) Casinos - free plays Some of these offer the freebie just on your birthday, while others are good the entire month of your birthday. Every program is different, so you'll just have to check the stipulations of each offer when you get it. But one of my favorite birthdays was going around Las Vegas collecting all my freebies! This is something you can do at home too if you're not traveling for your birthday. Tell me your favorite birthday freebie! Have a great weekend, Eva and JP P.S. Ready to plan your next trip? Discount Travel Secrets Hi Reader, This week I just want to share some brand new blog posts that have been published since my last newsletter. I realized I had never written reviews for some of the places I stayed in on my most recent trip to Florida back in July. So I started with those first: Orbit One Vacation Villas Review - literally right outside of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, the curb appeal is not the greatest, but it has been recently renovated and has a mid century modern +...
