Discount Travel Secrets Hi Reader, This week I want to share one of my favorite tricks for finding hidden travel deals and it’s totally free. You’ve probably used Google for everything under the sun, but have you ever tried using Google Trends for travel? It's a tool that a lot of bloggers and other kinds of publishers use to find relevant topics to write about, but everyone actually has a reason to use it when it comes to travel. Here’s how I do it: ✨ Step 1: Go to trends.google.com This is Google’s free tool that shows you what people are searching for right now. ✨ Step 2: Type in “travel deals” or something specific You can search a destination (“Hawaii travel deals”), a timeframe (“spring break travel deals”), or even both (“New Orleans December travel deals”). ✨ Step 3: Skim through the trending topics Google will show you related searches, trending companies, and even spikes in interest. Often, these are actual companies running specials or flash sales. ✨ Step 4: Adjust the time frame Switch the filter to “last 7 days” so you’re seeing the freshest results. Anything older might be expired, but it's worth expanding if 7 days isn't really giving you anything. ✨ Step 5: Follow the trail If something catches your eye, say you search “Thanksgiving travel deals” and see “Costco Travel” pop up, go Google “Costco Thanksgiving travel deals” directly. Nine times out of ten there’s a real offer happening beyond their normal pricing and that's why it's popping up as a trend. I’ve uncovered so many unexpected discounts this way, and it’s honestly kind of fun to treat it like a treasure hunt. Give it a try this week and let me know what deals you find. I’d love to feature some of your finds in a future newsletter! See you next week, Eva and JP 💎 P.S. Ready to plan your next trip?
